A magnificent collection of Fosteriana Tulips, that will reach a height of between 35-40cm. Native to Central Asia, Fosteriana are a hybrid race also known as Emperor Tulips noticeable for their brilliant oriental colours and large flower heads The stunning vibrant flowers will create a wonderful show-stopping display. The collection includes 10 each of Candela (yellow), Madame Lefeber (red with a yellow base), Orange Brilliant, Poco Loco (apricot pink) and Purissima (white). 11/12cm Bulbs supplied.

Soil Type

Well drained garden soil

Plant bulbs in well dug soil about 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart. It is often beneficial to use a little bonemeal or super phosphate mixed in with the soil. Tulips delight during their growth in a sunny location
After the tulips have bloomed and when leaves fade and turn brown the bulbs can be lifted, dried, cleaned and stored in a cool place until planting time. Tulips should not be grown in the same soil for several years, so replace with fresh soil every other year.
