Tulip Flag Collection

Tulip Flag Collection

This Tulip Flag collection produces a mixture of vibrantly coloured flowers on strong stems at the sturdy height of 40cm. We recommend planting all six varieties mixed together for a cheerful, carefree swathe of colour in the border. Alternatively, this collection can look pretty on the patio if separated into pots of each colour. Flowering April-May. Collection includes 10 each of Tulip Flaming Flag, Purple Flag, and White Flag. 10/11cm bulbs supplied.

Soil Type

Well drained, fertile soil

Daffodils (or narcissi) are both easy to grow and incredibly reliable. Like many bulbs, it takes very little time to plant them. Remove any weeds in the area you'd like to plant your bulbs and dig at the soil to aerate it. Fork in some organic matter to improve the drainage and soil structure.
Daffodils prefer sunny spots and well-drained soil, so keep this in mind when planting. Plant each bulb 2-3 times the bulbs height and place the bulb with the shoot facing upwards. Space them twice the bulbs width apart. Cover with soil and water if the ground is dry.
