A collection of elegant Primula varieties in a range of vibrant colour to perk up your borders and rockeries. The 60cm stems rise up from a rosette of basal leaves and carry the flowers in a stylish tiered arrangement. This collection includes one of Primula japonica Appleblossom (pink), Primula pulverulenta (red-purple), Primula Miller's Crimson, Primula beesiana (hot pink), Primula Candelabra White and Primula bulleyana Orange. Flowers May-July. Supplied as 5cm module grown plants.

Planting

Plant in prepared soil, with a hole large enough to firmly hold the module.

Soil Type

Well drained fertile soil.

On arrival, give them a little water (if required) and light and they will be ready to plant within 48 hours. Plants are large enough to plant out in to baskets/tubs. If soil, light and temperatures are poor (cool autumn) best results will be achieved by potting on for two to three weeks. This will also help to produce a bigger plant with greater flowering potential.
Ease off watering in August and keep it to a minimum in winter.
