Leycesteria formosa is an easy to grow shrub that is a former native to China and Tibet. This highly attractive evergreen produces trumpet shaped flowers and reddish-purple berries in autumn. In summer, its blooms appear in groups of clean white, an irresistible treat for bees and birds. Grows to sizes of 2.5m in height and spread when fully matured. Plant in beds, borders, or patio containers for year-round displays.
