Lamium maculatum Aureum

Lamium maculatum Aureum

Lamium maculatum Aureum, also known as the spotted dead nettle, is a dwarf-sized shrub that will provide you with glorious greenery when in season. Ideal as ground cover, or make it the star of the show in one of your favourite patio pots. This beauty is actually part of the mint family, and its bright chartreuse leaves look wonderfully familiar!

Moist, well drained soil.

This plant will grow to heights of 20cm. To plant, take your pot and soak it in water to help the roots retain as much water as possible before it goes into the ground.
Then, dig a hole where you'd like to plant your shrub that's big enough to fit the root ball in both width and depth. Gently remove the plant from the pot and plant it in the hole, covering with soil once finished.
