Iris sib. Devils Dream

Iris sibirica Devils Dream is a gorgeous variety that is perfect for a dark and mysterious late spring display. Produces mysterious, dark purple fragrant petals from April to August. Each perfect flower stands on top of a tall stem that averages at 60-80cm in height. Plant in beds, borders, containers or even rockeries for a sensational show once fully bloomed! Loose roots supplied.

Plant with soil firmly surrounding the roots.

Soil Type

Moderately fertile well drained soil.

Plant in temporary single pots before moving into final position. Keep them well watered in multipurpose compost until ready to move outside when you see it beginning to grow. Find an area that has plenty of sunshine or dappled shade.
Take some care to prevent slugs and snails from attacking the iris once planted. Most Dutch iris are only suitable for planting in the garden or in a cool greenhouse or a cold frame.
