Beautiful crimson red star shaped blooms. Compact clusters of flowers form fabulous fragrant bell shaped blooms that are great for planting in containers and outdoors. Ideal for a scented spring bedding theme. Our 15/16 cm bulbs produce a good flower size that's not too heavy to need support and will flower through throughout March and April.

Plant bulbs outdoors in borders and containers in early autumn for flowering in March and April. They are fully hardy in the ground, but can be frost tender in containers in cold gardens and sever winters They will also tolerate partial shade for a one-off display, but they will bloom less well in the following years if left there.

Always wear gloves when handling hyacinth bulbs as they can sometimes aggravate skin allergies and keep away from pets as all parts of the hyacinth can cause stomach upset if eaten.
If you have well drained soil you can leaves the bulbs in the ground to flower next year Slugs can be a problem in mild weather and bulbs that show any signs of disease should be discarded to prevent the disease spreading.
