Chrysanthemum Mixed

Chrysanthemum Mixed

A nurseryman's selection of Chrysanthemums, or Mums as they are so often referred too. With beautiful blooms, they are a favorite with the florist as they are superb cut flowers. They are ready to cut as soon as you see the first sign of colour appearing. They will produce a lovely display of blooms between August and October. Height 90-120cm. UK-grown 3cm jumbo plug plants supplied.

  • Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
  • 50cm
Planting

Plant in prepared soil, with a hole large enough to firmly hold the plug.

Soil Type

Any well drained, fertile soil.

Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost (that is not too peaty) as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. We recommend a John Innes Compost No 2. Plant 50cm apart and support with a 120cm cane. Tie when the plant is at the appropriate size. They do not need debudding and will produce flowers without any attention.
Water freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head regularly to prolong flowering.
