Allium Pulchellum (Carinatum)

Loose umbels of wide bell-shaped Reddish violet flowers that hang and nod gracefully in the breeze. Also known as keeled garlic it is easy to grow in any fertile well-drained soil. The Latin 'pulchellum' means 'very beautiful', the Royal Horticultural Society furnished Allium carinatum the Award of Garden Merit in 1993. A brilliant and vigorous addition to the summer garden suitable for beds, borders and rockeries. Height 35cm. Flowers July. Top quality/grade bulbs supplied.
