All Currants are perfect for pies, jams and winemaking and are great for serving fresh too. Nutritionally, Currants are high in vitamin C and contain traces of many other vitamins. They are ideal for pots as illustrated, or plant in the ground a few feet apart. Three each of Blackcurrant Wellington XXX, Red Lake and White Versailles.

| Currants prefer to be planted in well drained soil that is enriched with rotted manure. Plant in a sunny position but ensure there is some slight protection from winds. |
