Hedging Plants
Atropurpurea. Height 120-150cm. Purple red leaves with yellow blossom. An effective thorny boundary.
The evergreen low divide which has been a major feature of the British garden for hundreds of years. Trim to requirements. An expensive item but a fantastic investment for life.
Robust Floribunda rose. Ideal for hedging. Flowers are yellow with a hint of pink at the petal edge.
Fast growing hedging plant. Produces yellow catkins followed by cones which are eaten by birds in winter. 80-90cm plant supplied
Dense glossy evergreen needing infrequent pruning. Supplied as 45-60cm plants. Plant 60cm apart.
A deciduos hedge with dark green leaves turning brilliant red in late summer-autumn. Obtuse angled corky winged branches make this an unusal spectacle even in winter.
A mass of yellow flowers in March/April. A vigorous shrub producing green density for hedging. Prune hard.
More compact than the green privet, it makes a far more attractive hedge and only needs trimming twice a year. Supplied as 35-50cm plants.

Vigorous hedge. In winter the leaves turn brown but do not fall off affording winter privacy. In may the hedge turns green again. Ht. 3m. Plant 30-40cm apart. Supplied at 50-60cm. 15 plants will make a 4m long hedge.
