Identical leaf formation to the Acer Dissectum but with deep purple leaves. Height 1-1.5m. Japanese Maples are a must have ornamental garden plant and provide excellent shelter for wildlife when planted near a pond. 30-40cm plant supplied in a 2 litre pot.

Acers should be watered on a regular basis, which will be even more important in hot Summers. Although its not necessary, you can prune back or cut dead wood in Spring.
